You don’t have to travel far to come face-to-face with wildlife. You can see more than 4,000 animals at the Denver Zoo. These animals include gorillas, elephants, lions, and more. There has been a lot going on at the Denver Zoo lately, so get the scoop and make plans to visit this popular attraction.
Welcome to the Zoo’s New Animals
It’s fun to see animals of any age, but babies really are the best. They are just so adorable, so when a baby is at the zoo, you want to make plans to attend.
Recently, the Denver Zoo welcomed quite a few little ones. First, a Mexican alligator lizard had four babies in August. Head to the Tropical Discovery section of the zoo to see these little babies.
The zoo also welcomed three young Komodo dragons recently. They were unveiled at the zoo in July when they were only nine months old. These young Komodo dragons had a ready-made family when they made it to the zoo. The zoo already had an 8-year old and a 15-year old in its possession. Now, those older animals have some little ones to look after.

Be sure to bring some extra cash with you to The Watering Hole: Fierce Femmes since there will be a cash bar.
