Planning A Visit To The Mile High Flea Market
At first glance, the Mile High Flea Market can seem a little overwhelming. With over 2,500 vendors, it’s hard to know where to start. So before you get lost in a sea of tents, there are a few things you’ll want to know.
MHFM is located at 7007 East 88th Ave Henderson, CO 80640 and is open every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from 7:00 am to 5:00 pm. There is a small admission fee for visitors 12 and older of $2 per person on Fridays and $3 per person on Saturdays and Sundays. You can also purchase a three-day pass for $5.
Maps of the market grounds are available at the main entrance and Guest Services. These helpful guides come in real handy for new visitors, so we highly suggest you pick one up. With 80 acres of shops, you’ll have a lot of ground to cover. When you need to take a moment to rest and refuel, sit down for a meal at one of the restaurants within the market, or grab a turkey leg and relax under shaded tables near the Farmer’s Market. If you prefer to cruise through the market instead of walk, electric scooters are available to rent at $10 per hour.
Mile High is a dog-friendly market. However, in the interest of your pet’s safety, you are required to rent a dog cart for a fee of $5. The market is laid with 100% black asphalt, which, when hot, can be painful and damaging to dog paws.
