Attractions
Attractions

Denver is full of attractions, so it can be hard to know what to see and do. You might not have time to experience everything there is to do in the city, but you can hit up the best attractions in Denver. Check these out the next time you want to have a little fun in the city. You’re sure to love these top attractions.

Colorado State Capitol

If you’re interested in your state’s government, a trip to the Colorado State Capitol is a must. You can take a free tour on the weekdays, but you don’t have to go on the tour to have a good time. In fact, you can just come here for the view. Go to the rotunda and look out at the snowcapped mountains. You’ll be able to spot 200 mountains from the rotunda, and that view isn’t going anywhere. It’s actually against Colorado law to block the view, so you’ll always get to enjoy a piece of nature when you head to the capitol.

Denver Art Museum

You don’t have to go to Chicago or New York to enjoy an amazing art museum. The Denver Art Museum is massive and full of some of the best works of art in the world. It has one of the most impressive Native American Art collections in the entire world, Old West classics, and works from some of the biggest masters in Europe. Oh, and one of the museum’s buildings is a work of art in itself. The Hamilton Building is known for its stunning architecture, so be sure to admire it, as well.

16-Street Mall

The 16-Street Mall is a pedestrian mall that will take you through the center of downtown Denver. When you stroll down the tree-lined promenade, you will come across retail stores, restaurants, and shops. You will also encounter events and performers located at the various plazas and fountains. The mall is a mile long, and you can take a free shuttle up and down it. It’s normal to spend an entire day cruising the mall.
