About Vadim Gluzman
Gluzman is known as one of the best classical musicians of today. He has performed with the London Philharmonic, the London Symphony Orchestra, the Chicago Symphony, the San Francisco Symphony, and many more. He also won the Diapason d’Or for his fantastic recording of Bruch’s “Violin Concerto No. 1.”
His talents will be on full display at opening night of the Colorado Music Festival. He’ll perform works by Leonard Bernstein, Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, and John Corigliano.
About the Festival
Gluzman will be just one of many performers at this year’s Colorado Music Festival. The festival runs through Aug. 4 and attracts some of the biggest names and emerging talents in classical music. These performers play a selection of the most beloved classical music available, ensuring that everyone has a great time.
You might also get to listen to a regional or world premiere at the festival. Tan Dun’s “Pipa Concerto” made its Colorado debut at the festival in 2009, and Masurk Grey’s “Elevation” had its world premiere at the festival in 2006. These are just a couple of examples.

Going Out with a Bang
However, the festival isn’t just opening with a bang. It’s going out with one, as well. Pianist Olga Kern is returning to the festival to close it out on Aug. 4. She’ll take on Gershwin’s “Rhapsody in Blue” for her performance. This all-American program is sure to be a hit, so don’t wait too long to get your tickets.
