This June, Mike Shaw Subaru partnered with the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society as part of the Subaru Loves to Care program.
The dealership supported the Rocky Mountain Hospital for Children, providing childhood cancer patients with blankets, arts and crafts kits, and “messages of hope” written by customers and dealership staff. At the dealership, customers were invited to write one of these messages of hope and were given a co-branded tote to raise awareness. Dealership staff wore buttons bringing attention to the cause.
Statistics show that an American is diagnosed with cancer every three minutes. Leukemia is the most common form of cancer in children, so this initiative was especially significant. The dealership delivered 80 plush and cozy blankets to childhood cancer patients at the hospital along with the uplifting messages penned by customers and staff.
The goal of this partnership was to show support and solidarity with children fighting the battle against cancer, as well as raise awareness for this cause. Mike Shaw Subaru thanks all those who participated.
